Due to inclement weather January 31- February 2, 2023, three full-school days were used by Priority Charter Schools (PCS) to keep students safe using an abundance of caution. As a result, to meet the 75,600 minutes school year TEA requirement, PCS is required to make up 330 minutes of school. The 2022-2023 School Calendar had 2.5 days’ worth of minutes built into the calendar but, with 3-full school days used, the campuses will be required to make-up instructional minutes. Therefore, the 2022-2023 School Calendar was revised and approved this evening, February 23, 2023, by the PCS Board of Directors. The revision approved calls for the original March 10th Early Release Day before Spring Break and the May 24th Early Release Day to be “full days” of school. The last day of school on May 25, 2023, will still be an Early Release Day.
